1. Goutal stores

After the French government announcement following the Covid-19 sanitary crisis, all of Goutal’s stores have been closed until further notice. However, our online store is open. Indeed, our warehouse is still operating with caution, applying the sanitary instructions recommended by the French government.

2. Delivery and Return

Our delivery system has been modified in order to adapt to the unique and complicated situation. Delivery within the French metropolitan territory is offered for any online order, as long as the quarantine is applied. Furthermore, delays for returns are expected to be longer, going from 14 to 30 days for every delivery made from March 16th 2020.

The only delivery mode available in mainland France is currently the standard Colissimo delivery. The express delivery requires a signature, and is not allowed as part of the sanitary precautions.

Sadly, delivery delays in general are also lengthen, according to La Poste. Starting from March 30th 2020 and until further notice, the collection and distribution of every package will only be effective during 3 working days a week, while alimentation and sanitary products will be shipped in priority. Expedition delays can be extended from 7 to 10 working days through Colissimo. 

For international deliveries, Chronopost maintains its dispatch service but delivery delays are also to be expected. Please note that in Italy, some cities are no longer served: Ariano Irpino, Polla, Sala Consilina, Atena Lucana, Caggiano, Medicina, Montebello Ionico and San Lucido.

Signing is not required anymore for international Chronopost shipping. In order to minimize human contact, the courier will call you before arriving, or drop the package at your door with a picture as proof. To organize the delivery at your convenience, using PREDICT by Chronopost is recommended. This system will allow you to program your shipping up to one hour before shipping time.

We ask for your understanding and we apologize for any inconvenience caused by these delays.

3. Customer service

Goutal’s team is currently working from home. Sadly we won’t be able to satisfy every request as for example, sending samples to discover and test our fragrances. While the situation stays complicated, our hotline cannot be functionnal. But don't worry, our team is still available at eboutique@goutalparis.com, as well as through Facebook and Instagram.
